No, I didn't make a mistake. It's not the Cavs, or the Celtics...or the Lakers. It's the Nuggets. And it's all because of J.R. Smith and Carmelo Anthony. After crushing the New Orleans Hornets 4-1, dominating in every game by double digits (the game they lost, Carmelo Anthony nearly made a half-court buzzer beater which rimmed-out), and are now sweeping the extremely strong Mavericks 3-0. When Melo is doing badly, Nene comes to help. When the Nuggets are losing, J.R. shoots 30-foot threes, and just doesn't miss. Chauncey Billups, being 32 years old, is playing better than ever, shooting 3s, and having an astounding 92% free-throw percentage. OK, why don't I like the Cavs? I like them, but take out LeBron, and you've got yourself a 76ers caliber team. Take out Melo, and J.R. will replace him in the starters, you've got yourself a San Antonio caliber team. Lakers and Celtics are just getting old. OLD. Kobe, Derek Fischer, are going to go down soon, and the Lakers will finally go down. Yeah, "Sheshe" Vujacic has some talent, but he won't be Kobe! And Celtics, well, Garnet is injured, and they almost lost to the Bulls. I mean, come on!
